Painted Desert
Leaving Santa Fe on the 24th, we were officially on our way home. I had hoped to stop at Tent Rocks NM, but it was closed.

East of Albuquerque, we got stuck in a traffic jam on I40, where we went 15 miles in just over two hours. There was a horrible smash up of a car and a semi. Hope there were no fatalities.
We did stop at the Painted Desert, which is part of Petrified Forest NP, just before dark.

Stayed in WInslow, and had dinner at a fine brewery, right on the famous corner.
